BNP Paribas Cardif enters a new partnership with Privatsikring in Denmark
BNP Paribas Cardif* is proud to have entered a partnership with Privatsikring, part of Alm. Brand Group, which is a leading non-life insurance company in Denmark who will offer a new product – Boliglånsforsikring – through Denmark’s biggest bancassurance network. The new product can increase financial security and protect the mortgage in the face of a sudden loss of income.
Privatsikring will offer a new mortgage insurance product to private customers in Denmark. Mortgage loan insurance (also called Boliglånsforsikring) is an insurance that enables customers to continue paying the monthly installments on their loan if they are unfortunate enough to lose their job or be affected by illness and cannot work for a period. Customers can choose the insured amount based on their needs, offering a flexible way to secure part or all of their monthly payment. This is a way of providing tailored protection to customers for greater security in the face of a sudden loss of income.
BNP Paribas Cardif is the underlying insurance provider of the product, which is being offered through Privatsikring’s broad network of financial insitution partners in Denmark. Arbejdernes Landsbank was the first bank to offer the solution in December and the offer will now be extended to customers in the around 30 additional financial institutions in the Privatsikring partnership.
