Product Manager – Credit Cards

To our Products & Processes department, we are now looking for a commercial Product Manager covering our credit cards and revolving credit solutions in the Nordics. This includes responsibility for ensuring the right product features for each market, tight interaction with B2B and B2C sales teams to drive sales and usage of the cards and credits, and responsibility for managing contacts with the relevant providers (card schemes, card plastic and embossing, fraud, etc.).

BNP Paribas Personal Finance in the Nordics has more than 300 employees in Denmark, Norway and Sweden, working under the consumer brands SevenDay Bank in Sweden and Express Bank in Denmark and Norway. We specialize in unsecured loans, payment solutions and attractive savings accounts, offering simple and price worthy products to consumers.

About the role

  • Maintains the strategic roadmap for what Credit Card and revolving credit solutions we should offer on the Nordic market.
  • Identifies and drives initiatives needed to develop according to the strategic roadmap.
  • Works with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and support for roadmap and priorities.
  • Works with the sales teams to drive sales and usage, support in partner discussions and to identify improvement areas for our products and solutions.
  • Follows market trends in the Nordics and best practices from within the BNP Paribas Group for the credit cards area.
  • Together with solution specialists sets the functional requirements for new and improved products and processes.
  • Participates in projects to secure the correct business implementation of requested solutions.
  • Acts as a coordinator towards the organization regarding all aspects of how we deliver our credit card products and related processes, including legal, compliance and operational considerations.

You will be part of a team of Product Managers, situated across the Danish, Norwegian and Swedish offices.

About you

You have extensive experience from working with credit cards in the Nordic market, including experience from handling the ecosystem of card schemes. You have a sales and business mindset, strong interest in commercial product development within the credit card area, and a good understanding of how IT solutions supports the business.

You can take ownership of the strategic development in the credit card area, and have the resilience to drive change initiatives over time to achieve strategic goals. Building strong relationships within the organization and manage stakeholder expectations is important, and although IT project management is not a part of the role it is a benefit if you have experience from and understanding for how IT and change projects run.

You also need to be humble and communicative in order to work with all parts of the organization involved in delivering the solutions to our partners and customers. A Nordic mindset is key, with colleagues, customers and partners in all three countries where we currently operate. Speaking one Scandinavian language and strong English, which is the official business language, is key.

The position can be placed either in Sweden, where the BNP Paribas Personal Finance office is located in Kista Science Tower, or in Copenhagen, where the office is in Taastrup.
